The Silver Spur/Best of Texas Awards recognize the finest work produced each year by public relations professionals throughout the State of Texas.
The Texas Public Relations Association of Texas (TPRA), founded in 1954 and Texas’ only statewide public relations organization, conducts the competition. The contest is co-sponsored by the Austin, Central Texas, Dallas, Greater Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
The 2010 entries were judged on Jan. 22-23 at Texas State University, Round Rock Campus. Silver Spur and Best of Texas awards will be presented Friday, March 5, 2010 during the Texas PR Leadership Day & Gala in Austin at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.
