TPRA highlight's the state's top PR campaigns and practitioner (continued)

Another 37 companies and institutions won a silver, bronze or merit Best of Texas designation for projects including websites, email or printed newsletters, annual reports and magazines.

The 2008 Silver Spur/Best of Texas Awards is sponsored by TPRA and the Austin, Central Texas, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). It is the only statewide public relations contest in Texas.

Awards were handed out at the banquet during the organization's recent annual conference in San Antonio.

TPRA is the only statewide organization in Texas for accredited public relations professionals and has a higher percentage of accredited members than any other communications trade association.
