TPRA Events Around the State
This spring and early summer, TPRA events are being held around the state. Be sure to sign up for one in your area. Houston, Lufkin, and Austin have recently hosted events. A Dallas event will be held June 15, and a Midland-Odessa event is being planned.
Early Morning Meet the Media
Join us at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 at the University of Dallas, School of Management Executive Dining Room (800 W. Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75080) for TPRA Early Morning Meet the Media. Meet the new editor of the Dallas Business Journal, Juan B. Elizondo, Jr. and the members of the executive editorial staff. Webinar Series
TPRA is hosting a webinar series which is affordable and focused on topics that are current to the practice of public relations. The next webinar is “PR & Social Media: Incorporating Facebook, Twitter, etc. into your PR Strategy” 12-1 p.m. CDT Tuesday, May 25. Libba Litton from Whole Foods will be the speaker. Registration closes an hour before the webinar begins. $20 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Register online. We’ve got a great line-up with upcoming speakers such as Dr. Doug Newsom and Jim Haynes, APR, Teresa Henderson from Edelman and our Leadership Day banquet keynote Sylvia Stern.
